Everyone has been talking about buying and selling their extra peripherals for Rock Band in lieu of individual peripheral sales. It's been talked about making a thread for people to connect to buy and sell peripherals with other people on the forums. So, with just over one week before release, here it is!

Please post the peripheral or peripherals, whether you want to buy or sell, console, and where you live (city or metropolitan area only). I will update the first post with a running list of open offers, and will remove them when they have been completed. Please use PMs when possible to make offers. If you did not receive the confirmation e-mail, consider making a new account to use for sending an offer PM.

I'm actually surprised it hadn't been made yet. Every thread about the individual peripherals had at least one person say they wanted to buy/sell.

Also, I expect a lot of people selling the strat because they prefer the Les Paul. Of course, we won't know until people start making offers ;)

If you guys don't put a location, I will assume that you are expecting it to be shipped? Just remember that shipping arrangements get tricky, so I'd suggest putting a location and making arrangements to pick it up in person.

This is an excellent idea.

I just wish to caution folks that these transactions are done at your own risk. While I don't have reason to doubt the integrity of the community, a game as popular as Rock Band could draw out a negative element looking to capitalize on the situation.

Exactly. Just as with any personal transaction, make sure you are comfortable with the terms, and use cash to protect yourself from fraud.
