Double bass drum

I think Rock Band needs two kick pedals, or some way to copy a double bass drum. A lot of those songs on the list require a double bass, and wouldn't be the same without it... hence practically all the metallica songs. considering we'll be seeing some of those in the future of the game. =/

Yeah, I dont think they are gonna come out with one since the game comes out in 10 days. It would be a nice feature though.

It's not goign to happen - it's expensive to manufacture and only a small handful of metalheads care. it's like asking for a doublenecked guitar - there's not much game-play purpose and not enough people would buy it. If you feel you need that in your life, it's time to just take up real drums.

I would like to see triple bass pedals. I would totally buy like 7 drum set if they made that.

what if it was an option though... like you could buy an extra bass pedal, and you wouldn't have to, but you had the choice to use it... they could make someway to register all of the notes for those people, and everything would be nice.... i'm not saying this could happen in the near future at all, but in the long run... don't tell me you don't wanna be lars ulrich during the one double bass part.... =/

this double bass pedal idea is the same as my idea about having the option of bass or rhythm for ever song, or sing back up for every song.

It's not going to happen for RB. If they ever make a Rockband II, which is probably not going to happen, these would be good ideas. It would be nice for those who want a double bass pedal, but its just not going to happen.

Technically since the pedal plugs into the main unit, you could use two pedals and join them... since they are momentary switches, they would work fine as double-bass drums.

Problem is no song would take advantage of it.

And even if they put songs that have double bass drum in it - they call pad them with floor tom rolls.
