It's not overcharted, just stupidly charted. They made every not into annoyingly placed chords, most likely just for challenge. That song was quite a bïtch to pass.

Anything that artificially raises the challenge of a song can be considered overcharting.

Awkward chords, notes that aren't actually there, playing the synth part of a song (yes, I know HMX did it too with Smokin'); All of these to me, are overcharting.

FCPREMIX was badly done. for example in the main riff they have a double note where there is supposed to be only one. my guitarist friend and i have been playing this song at my youth group for a year now, and when i first got gh3 it disgusted me.

Through the Fire and Flames definately!!! The intro is completely screwed up... That and they slide from one note to the next alot and they count the slide as different notes so a slide from fret 17 to 20 would be 4 different notes which is a little stupid. AND THE STRING SCRATCHES!!! Why even chart those???

In all fairness, the second mosh in Raining Blood is really hard to chart. In reality, Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman are just doing sustained whammy dives, which really doesn't translate well to guitar rhythm games.

The main issue was that...

A.Three cord spam. Not hardcore, more of not required.

B.Same guitar part, diffrent game tab. Stricken, definatley.

C.Too many non-guitar parts. TTFAT was the main song here. Knights of Cydonia had that middle thing, it can go on...

BUT...

A.New company on the game. It's like trying to put a fast-food person in control of finishing the creation of a monument single-handed. This is their first time trying to chart games, HMX had the SAME problem with GH1 (HO PO anyone?)

I am hoping GH:WT, they get their **** together and produce a good game. GH3 wasn't good, but hell, they gave the series to someone who hasn't done those game types. I give em a break, but I seriously hope GH:WT isn't the same quality.

Um, I'd have trouble listing every single song that was overcharted, but I think it's safe to say that most of them were quite overcharted. I really hate their charts of Knights of Cydonia and When You Were Young. 2 of my favorite bands, awesome songs, terrible charts. At least Rock Band has When You Were Young.
