wednesday ill call him and play all day and go to sleep in good time as i have college on thursdays

thursday, call, though he wont come round as ill be home at around 6 after college, ill leave the house before it gets here so i wont be at college waiting for the game or anything

friday, same as thursday, though he will come and we will play all weekend

For myself,
1. Unpack, plug it all in.
2. Go through the solo menus to confirm my fears that you can't make a logo, can't make a band of NPCs, and can't do anything other than grind setlists until you've unlocked everything.
3. Weep openly.
4. Get over it and play solo to unlock everything -- probably vocals first, then drums.
5. After getting home from Thanksgiving at relatives place (meh), invite sister and brother in law over for BWT using unlocked goodies.
6. Head online to play with what few friends I have who have XBL and $170 to spend.
7. Yay!

I'm busting out the mic and singing all the songs I know. It'll be hard, though, because if it's set up anything like GH2, at least in solo mode, then I won't know the songs, making it very different to sing along.

Then drums. BWT will have to wait until they add online or solo mode.

Well since I work third shift, I hope my Gamespot doesn't do a midnight release, I'm afraid they might give mine away to someone else, so i won't be able to get it until 9 or 10 am on the 20th.

Once I have it, move stuff out of the way, set up the drums try them, vocals and guitar, then probably get into big debt (according to how much DLC cost) downloading Nevermind and other dlc. Then probably try to play with ppl on xbox live.

Probably take a look into the compatibility settings. Set it to "LCD TV" and then testing it in Quickplay Mode. (I don't want to start BWT without getting sure that there is no lag)
If it works I will start BWT with my friends and if not, I will play with the settings a little to make the lag go away. :p

Hard to decide whether I'll pick up the drums and start a tutorial or just try to get into it with the Strat. On one hand, the drums were fun as all get out on the demo, on the other hand, the guitar would be more familiar and I might be able to get farther initially.

Might lean toward cranking on the guitar first so I can unlock more songs for multiplayer and then go back and give the drums a shot.

I have classes on Tuesday/Thursday nights, so I was expecting to pick up Rock Band on Tuesday morning and not really being able to touch it until Wednesday night. Checking the academic calendar though, I have that Tuesday off! I also took off from work the Monday after Thanksgiving, so starting Wednesday night I'm in for 5 and a half days of rock.

I'll assemble and hook up everything, then probably admire it all for several minutes. Then I'll turn the game on and admire any opening cinematics. Then I'll callibrate if necessary. Then I'll do the singing tutorial and jump right into solo tour on vocals. I hope I can start out at Hard, but might have to be medium. If I get bored before finishing it, I'll switch off to play some drums and/or guitar.
