I need some help
Whenever i hook up my wired headset to my drums when i play online
nobody can hear me
and it makes a really annoying crackling sound whenever it is in

can somebody tell me what the problem might be
or how i can fix it
or what im doing wrong

It's likely to be one of two things:

1) You don't have your headset plugged firmly into the adapter
2) The adapter is faulty. Try another one, your bundle should have come with 2.

Logical deduction by Davidshek. Other ways to troubleshoot your problem would be to carefully check the integrity of the cable connecting to the headset/drums. One of the reasons the future is in wirless, besides the increase in possible playing positions, is because there is one less thing 2 go wrong with the system over time. The older your set is, normal "wear and tear" occurs. Depending on where you store your stuff, the cords can become tangled, which eventually stretches and bends sensitive connections within the cords themselves. A visual check may not be able 2 spot internal problems like this, so attempt to manually feel for where the cord is too soft/flexible, or overly kinked.. The only way 2 fix at that point would be to replace the attachment/headset, or to splice the cable and re-attach as accurately as possible. Good luck man, sucks 2 have mystery probs.

Too bad I dont have a mystery van with an enormus pot smoking dog sidekick 2 help me solve the Rock Communitys "meddling kids", i mean glitches.. lol sorry man, cya
