Best Buy Midnight Release Confirmed Locations!!!

A little bird landed on my shoulder today in the form of a printed out "playbook".

I hope you all can understand why I don't post photos, but I definitely will put my preordered/paid in full Rock Band game that this information is accurate.

Goto bestbuy.com and click on store locator at the top of the page to see the store numbers near you. The following stores will be launching a midnight release of Rock Band.

If you ever have been at a midnight release of any device at Best Buy, you know how this works. Get there around 8:30 pm. They are instructed to hand out tickets to anyone in line at 9pm. Once you get that ticket, that's a guaranteed copy and you can do whatever until midnight before they open.

Other details that might be useful to know

Rock Band has a 60 day guarantee on peripherals.
You can purchase replacement plans on the peripherals and disk. ( they don't cover abuse)
PS2 release date 12/10/07 <---I think this is widely accepted already

That isn't how it worked at the Guitar Hero 3 midnight release at my Best Buy.

We got there at 11:00PM and were the 3rd and 4th people in line. There were some folks from a radio station on hand to give out T-shirts and raffle off an actual Les Paul guitar. People steadily arrived.

By 11:50 there were easily about 130 people in line. At 11:55AM they called the pre-orders to the front of the line and gave them their bundles first. My friend and I walked out the door with our stuff at 12:17.

You need to take a chill pill. Rock Band won't sell out in my area. I live in a big city (Atlanta) where there are:
- 4 Best Buys,
- 4 Super Wal-marts,
- 4 Super Targets,
- 3 Circuit Citys,
- 2 Fry's Electronics
- about 9 Gamestops

.... and thats just within a 30-minute drive of where I live. The only midnight release around me is actually 17 minutes away from me... there is a closer Best Buy that is only 7 minutes from me that isn't doing the midnight thing, so I can 100% get a copy there in the morning if I don't feel like waiting up late in the cold (which I probably won't do since the release is on a weekday).

I know that there are areas where GH3 did sell out for PS3, but the fact is that around here, GH3 didn't sell out, Halo 3 didn't sell out, Nintendo Wii didn't sell out, and Rock Band won't either (especially not at $170 for the bundle).

Sorry to burst your bubble, bud. Not everyone lives in Timbuktu where there aren't enough copies of games to go around.

Yeah, funny...I live in central Arkansas(yup, out in the sticks) and none of the 3-4 stores close by will be doing the midnight thing...BUT...in NW Arkansas, BOTH the Fayetnam and Rogers stores will be doing it. They are like 3 blocks from each other too...what a joke!

None of the ones by me are on that list. Doesn't matter, I have it mostly paid off at EB anyway.
