How will the issue of curse words in songs be handled? Personally I wouldn't mind saying "Nature is a whore," during In Bloom, but I suppose some might. Now that we are going to be singing these songs, we will actually be saying the words, as opposed to just hearing them in another game. I think most people who buy Rock Band won't mind, especially since there aren't any songs with real graphic language, but still some people won't want to say anything considered a curse word. Are the songs, like In Bloom, unedited? I hope so...

sorry if this has been discussed before...

In Creep by Radiohead he says "You're so ****ing special" so I doubt they left that in. They probably used the censored version where he says "You're so very special" instead. I would say as a whole though the songs will probably be left untouched.

I hear the spot where the curse is will just be blank.

and you won't be penalized for saying whatever you want, the actual word or nothing at all.

For Creep, it's definitely "You're so _____ special."

Not sure about In Bloom, but I imagine the full lyrics will be there.

Personally, I welcome the correct lyrics. But, I also have nine year old daughters that will play (and their neighborhood friends). I know the game is rated teen so I don't expect them to cater to a younger crowd. I just have to play the vigilant parent and watch what's played (I think this applies more to DLC than on-disc songs).

I fully expect to have to field the question "What's a whore?" And I fully expect my wife to beat my ass when I answer my obligatory, "You're mom."

Assuming they're uncensored, songs like Moonage Daydream will be off limits to my kids and their friends.

That sounds like the best idea ever, because even if it's censored we all know that we'll be yelling out the real words anyways.

FWIW, at the Rock Band Tour, In Bloom did have the word "whore" in the lyrics.
