Oi!
I am very happy to see bands such as The Ramones and The Clash included in Rock Band, as both are incredibly influential to punk, and this needs to be applauded.
That being said, I'd like to see some more punk, more "classic" punk from the 70s, and some more contemporary examples of the genre.
Here's a few bands I'd like to see, but basically the addition of any punk in would be excellent
NOFX
Bad Religion (Preferably their older body of work... namely any thing off the Suffer album)
Social Distortion
Strike Anywhere
Anti-Flag
Dropkick Murphys
Rancid

Black Flag
Minor Threat
Husker Du
Bad Brains
The Minutemen
The Germs
Dead Kennedy's
Um yeah all those bands should be released DLC. Especially Black Flag and Husker Du.
And I'm gonna ignore that the dude above me called AFI punk....

I'm guessing you never listened to AFI's stuff before Sing the Sorrow, so I'll just ignore your ignorance.

lmao i don't consider them punk. every time i wiki them (and cry at the thought of no reunions) i always "wtf" at the art-punk label
oh and other than the clash, iggy (since i've never listened to his stuff), and TH (obviously) i despise all of those bands in that list you gave me, sorry

Their first 2 albums were actually pretty good by 90s era pop punk standards. I'd almost consider them a different band before Jade came along since the last time I saw them live in 2000 they had stopped playing anything he didn't have a hand in. In any event if they got in the game it would undoubtedly be their newer crap so I'll take a pass.
I would like even more Clash, Ramones and Buzzcocks.
My punk wishlist (based on the rumor/assumption DLC won't be radio edits):
Stiff Little Fingers - Suspect Device
The Rezillos - Somebody's Gonna Get Their Heads Kicked In
The Undertones - Teenage Kicks, Get Over You
The Damned - Neat Neat Neat, New Rose, Jet Boy Jet Girl
New York Dolls - Personality Crisis, Looking For a Kiss, Pills
The Heartbreakers - Born Too Loose, Chinese Rocks
The Dead Boys - Sonic Reducer
DK - California Uber Alles, Too Drunk to F*
Black Flag - Rise Above, Six Pack, Gimme Gimme Gimme
Bad Brains - I Against I
The Descendants - Milo Goes to College(full album)
X - Los Angeles, Johnny Hit and Run Paulene, We're Desperate, White Girl, 4th of July
The Weirdos - We Got the Neutron Bomb
Fear - I Love Livin in the City, I Don't Care About You
Agent Orange - Bloodstains
Cocksparrer - Where Are They Now, England Belongs to Me, I Got Your Number, Take 'em All
Sham 69 - If the Kids are United, Borstal Breakout
Wire - 12XU
TSOL - Code Blue
The Vibrators - Disco in Moscow
The Germs - Lexicon Devil
GG Allin - You Hate Me and I Hate You
Misfits - Where Eagles Dare

I would love to see some of everything you guys are listing,
but maybe we could see some less known pop-punk/punk bands get some songs posted in here ?
Though its a bit less hardcore, Motion City Soundtrack has a few songs that'd be a blast to play on here,
I'd like to see some pre-American Idiot Green Day make its way onto the DLC.
The Matches would be an awesome band to play, mostly December is For Cynics or some fun ones to sing would be Jack-Slap Cheer, Hot Topic is Not Punk Rock, or Didi My Doe (Part 2).
National Cadaver songs My Ex-Girlfriend is a Nazi, Salt In Your Wounds, or F*** You Kill Krew would be fantastic underground punk songs.
I Think Walla Walla by The Offspring would be great.
I think Flogging Molly (any song, they're all the same) would be fantastic.
What do you think ?

ok so i've been into every kind of punk music my whole life so i'm going to try to generate a bunch of songs from every genre of punk based on how difficult the instrument is and how fun it would be to play...lets see how well i do.
One Hundred Punks by Generation X (i'm really surprised no one has mentioned this band yet)
Such & Such by 7 Seconds (also hasn't been mentioned yet)
I Wanna Get a Mohawk (but mom wont let me get one) by AFI (Dont say its not punk until you've heard it)
Pints of Guiness Makes You Stronger by Against Me! (ok i mainly put this in here because i love this band)
Don't Pray On Me by Bad Religion
Rise Above by Black Flag
Bulling the Jukebox by The Bouncing Souls
Got the Numbers By Anti Flag
Police Truck by Dead Kennedys
Black Friday Rule by Flogging Molly (dont know about the recorded version but the live version has a wicked guitar solo)
Johnny Quest Thinks We're Sellouts by Less than Jake
Unity by Operation Ivy
Head? Chest? or Foot? by Propagandhi
Radio by Rancid
Torches By Rise Against
Only For the Night by RX Bandits
The Change by The Suicide Machines (its really hard to put ska songs into this list because the guitar)
The Deadly Kiss by U.S. Bombs
Too Young to Die by Agent Orange
Lying Awake by Authority Zero (either this or La Surf)
Beer by Reel Big Fish
There's a lot more bands i wanted to see including operation ivy, some early green day, choking victim, streetlight manifesto, catch 22 and so on but the guitar wouldn't be so fun to play

What I wanna know as far as punk music is : Where the hells the misfits at?
The misfits either
A.Are one of the most influencial/popular bands of all time
OR
B.Sure have one catchy ass logo that millions of people who don't even like them love to wear and have on everything
They weren't in GH1 GH2 , GH80s , GH3 , and they aren't in Rock band either
I wonder if they are like AC/DC and Led zeppelin about their rights or... if they have honestly just been overlooked this many times?
