Well, I worked hard on this. Most are very good songs, and some are my favourites. But enjoy. The DLC rubric for six months if I were appointed to Executive Digital Distribution.
Enjoy!

Coldplay, Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith packs are nice. But the rest is too much Emo and Pop.

While I would download a lot of that, the diversity is pretty poor. As said above, there is quite a lot of pop/emo, especially when looking at full album downloads.

Too much Fueled By Ramen.
Need as little as possible!
- my true opinion
Maybe cut out half those for some more variety. some 80s or 90s tracks..
-realistic and nicer opinion

Well I was just following what was said.
"To find something that includes all four instruments so everyone can enjoy."
So, some of the songs on Rock Band (example: Dirty Little Secret, Move Along, etc.) are emo. But I can understand the pop situation.
I picked the Jonas Brother Songs because I liked the vocals, and the guitar and drums. I mean, even though this is a Rock based game, some of the gamers would enjoy some of that diversity in genre.
This is directed to everyone. :)

Well as I said before, I was following a part of the rubric. Create variety for every instrument so everyone can have fun. If you listen to those songs, and view almost half of the players, you can see that they would enjoy this. Even though it is rock based, I think that the drums, guitar, vocals, and bass would all be enjoyable for people.

Damn! I knew I forgot something! I was looking for one, and I remembered what my friend said. And that's what it was. Crap, well, I'm making a new one because everyone thought that it was Emo/Pop.

Rush... 2112... album... WOW. if that was to really happen... 20 mins of playing a song would be tiring... plus the other 5 on that CD.
You really need a Mixture of older stuff with newer... i see ALOT more newer than older. but other than that. i'd be broke!

i have to agree...im 13 and like all of these bands (the album's especially since they are what i hear usually, with the exception of Jonas Brothers). but we need more classic rock in the game (though i dont know much, i really like alot of the older bands songs)
EDIT: oh yeah i dont think dreaming out loud would work out that well with rock band

Okay. I can understand OneRepublic not working out.

Wow, Id have a lot of points left over.
You picked like, 10-20 good songs, the rest are poppy, emo crap.
I mean, really, The Jonas Brothers?
They are like a walking Abercrombie and Fitch catalog.

I'm just gonna say it, this is way too ****ty and boring to be any good. We know you only put Zeppelin and Hendrix on there to try to make people think all you watched wasn't MTV. It just sucks. This fails AS HARD as Rock Revolution does. Yeah, don't even bother making the other one, it's just going to end up being 90's Pop instead featuring N*SYNC, Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees, Hanson, Spice Girls, and the Macarena.
LMAO @ Overkill.

Well for one thing, I don't watch MTV, and second, I chose the pop songs because of what it said on the rubric, "Pick songs that are fun and that involve every instrument." Even people agree with me, but that's your opinion, and I really don't care.

Thank you, Harmonix, for not being this guy.
You seriously see no problem with the genre/decade balance being 75% 2000s pop punk? This is appalling.

I also would ahte only getting one band every week. Currently as HMX is doing it, we get 2, 3 or even 4 or more bands in a week. Gives you more options to DL. This list, you'd just be SOL pretty much every week, if you didn't like a particular artist.
Should have been divied up more by genre, or era, or anything other than so many artist packs concentrated together

Id definitely buy a ton of these songs but you'd have to mix them into a full year of DLC with a lot more variety and classic songs. You should also get rid of the One Republic album and just add "Stop and Stare" to the mixed variety pack since thats one of the only ones that would work and its the best song anyways.

Daughtry, Maroon 5, Jonas Brothers, Aerosmith, Coldplay, Panic at the Disco, OneRepublic, Three Days Grace, FOB, John Mayer, Disturbed, The Killers, Rascal Flatts... No offense, but I never thought I could hate a setlist so much. And I thought I had a broad taste in music until now.
But props for the Coheed and Journey.
