What are you gonna call your band?

I've been thinking of what name to call my band, but haven't come up with one yet. I was thinking other people can share some of their ideas and what inspired their band names so I can get an idea of how band names are made.

Also, what look are your band members going to have? Any inspiration from real musicians? I was thinking of modeling my guitarist after James Iha. I'm also Asian (Chinese, though, not Japanese), and around the time that the Pumpkins were popular, I was starting to play guitar and had long hair with a bleached streak in the front.

I also had the idea of modeling each of my musicians after my look at a certain point in my life. I've gone from the "nerd" look in high school to "James Iha" in freshman year in college (complete with painted fingernails... this was before Emo), then to punk rocker by third year with a "Tank Girl"-inspired haircut, and now I look more conventional with just a shaved head and baggy cargos.

I've been pondering band names as well. I have a couple that I may go with, but I want to see what the game's name generator comes up with - HMX has a good sense of humor, so I may find something really cool pop up. If nothing appeals to me, I'll likely go with Crusty Jugglers or The Greater Good. I intend to have several bands that I noodle around with as I experiment with the rocker maker and logo creator.

Maybe it will be like a clan or like a user name and once it's used people can't take it. At least on Band World Tour.

I'll likely end up with a number of different bands, to use with friends, but I'll let them come up with some names.

Great suggestions! I especially like the "Red Ring of Death" one, although I have a suspicion you'd be jinxing yourself if you named your band this.

I almost completely forgot about my band names for GH1 & 2. They were:

The High-5's (inspired by Borat)
The Evil 88 (inspired by Kill Bill)

Although, I don't think I'll be using any of these or parts of these for my Rock Band band name.

Some of these names are incredible. My faves so far (not that it matters) are definitely The Greater Good (sounds rockin'yet sinister in a Machiavellian, George Orwell kind of way) and Ctrl.Alt.Rock (reminds me of an office staff that goes nuts on Friday at 5:00 or something).

Since I'll be playing BWT solo on guitar and vocals, and I'm a very large man, I'll be making myself as vocalist and guitarrist and will be called:
