Yet another Canadian delay thread

So since Harmonix denied the delay rumours back in September is it safe to say that since they are NOT denying this rumour that it may have a ring of truth to it right?

Really? Then why wouldn't EA be discussing this with their investors (As a shareholder I would LOVE to know if a product they are distributing will be delayed)

I understand that you Americans don't get it. I understand that you are sick of our threads. So stay out of them. These threads aren't meant to just piss you off. They are created so us Canadians can ***** and moan and potentially to get some f*cking information.

So while I appreciate you guys bumping these threads back up, if you hate all the threads popping up just avoid the thread. So far there hasn't been any covert thread titles, they all mention very clearly the Canadian delay. Just stay out of them if you have nothing to add.

I agree...... I'm at a point were I've accepted this delay for us. It sucks, but there's really nothing that can be done. I guess only time will tell, we've waited this long. I guess we can hold out a little longer.

I don't hate it, and I do get it. I could only imagine how bad it has to suck for a game to be released, especially one as good as this one. But how about you give some thought to the UK guys? They won't be getting it until next year.

It's not the delay, its the STILL not actually having it confirmed part thats hard to take. I guess this is case of ignorance not being bliss. lol j/k

Once again I'm going to say that we're not mad at the delay, we're mad because we're still not sure given no confirmation whatsoever. The Europeans KNEW they were in for a later release date. Canadians had no idea of those month long delay and even up to this point nothing is certain, that's what we're complaining about. Sorry I just had to say that, because in all of these threads someone brings up the whole "Think about the Europeans!" argument. But come on there's a massive separation between two continents, we're one country above, I think we deserve some kind of warning.

That's kind of odd, common sense would tell me if something is being said to be delayed and not one HMX member has stepped up and said this isn't true, you would definitely know it will be delayed. Maybe just a few days, a week, hell maybe even until the UK gets it. Either way, I wouldn't honestly get my hopes up of it NOT being delayed when HMX hasn't said anything a week before release. And really, that does suck ass. Sorry for the misunderstanding before.

Guys, I say contact Joystiq and other gaming blogs about it. Mainstream attention would surely get the guys on top who do know what is going on with the Canadian release to notice how incompetent they're looking right now.

That is the confusing reality that we are angry about. We want very much for it to NOT be delayed, but if it is then we want to know for how long. If it's only for a month, that's fine, but we need to know!

If rumours started hitting EB and Gamestop that RB was delayed in the US for a month you guys would be LIVID. And if no one was confirming or denying the rumours so you had no idea if you would be playing it on Thanksgiving, you would revolt. And don't even try to tell me you would be fine with it, that's complete and utter bullcrap.

See that's another part to this. Their silence gives us hope! But all reasoning tell us that it will be delayed. But are the stores correct or not? But they haven't mentioned a delay! Their last press release said the 20th! But all these stores are saying it's delayed!

If there is one definite, we'll know on the 20th of November if there's a delay or not. I've personally been told I can get my copy 11/20 at my EB games, so I'm just playing it by ear, and hopefully he's right.

How dumb is that? My EB Games' manager was adamant that it was going to be released on the 20th up until last weekend. Now he tells me there is no doubt going to be a delay.
