Sure, it might not be a good choice with the high vocals, but I think its a good song with a Big Rock Ending built right in. Thoughts?

this song would be amazing. definitely a workout on vocals, most people know it, even the 80 hair metal militia would be behind this choice, right?

Perfect song for the game... Everyone has to appreciate The Darkness's attempt to bring back glam-rock.

I'm all for the Darkness, but as I've stated in other threads, "Growing on Me" is my personal favorite. "Love is Only a Feeling" would also be great.

I think it would be a welcome addition to the DLC.

That song would be amazing in Rock Band.

It's funny when people think The Darkness isn't a parody band. Can you honestly tell me that you watched that video and didn't get that it was a joke?

it depends on what you mean by a "joke".
i believe they were being knowingly silly, but also paying tribute to a time of music that they love just as seriously as any other music.

Their debut album, Permission to Land, went straight to number two in the UK charts upon its release on 7 July 2003, before going to number one and staying there for four weeks, eventually going on to sell 1.5 million copies in the UK.

The success of this album led to heavy touring for the band, including European portions of Metallica's Summer Sanitarium Tour 2003. They then went on to headline the Carling Festival & T in the Park in 2004. The band won three BRIT Awards in 2004 in response to the album, Best Group, Best Rock Group and Best Album.

They also won two Kerrang! awards in 2004 for Best Live Act and Best British Band. The third single from the album, "I Believe in a Thing Called Love", was a substantial hit in the UK as was their tilt at the Christmas 2003 number 1, "Christmas Time (Don't Let the Bells End)", which only just fell short, both singles reaching No.2 in 2003.

Hardly a 'parody' band. Massive Queen & AC/DC influences plain to see & hear. Seen them live at the Glasgow Barrowlands on the PTL tour - great musicians & good showmen.

There's a bunch of their tracks that would fit great in RB, in fact the entire PTL album would be great as DLC.

It's just a pity that the frontman allowed his drug addiction to ruin it for everyone involved.

saying The Darkness are a parody band because they have goofy videos is like saying the Foo Fighters are a parody band because, well they have goofy videos as well.

Parody band or not, it'd be a great party song.

I would definately like to see some Darkness in rock band. Only problem is, censoring would ruin most of the songs because of bad language (e.g. Get Your Hands Off My Woman and Black Shuck)

I see absolutely no reason this song/band isn't in rock band. they split up and have nothing to lose. all the money made would be gravy, and the songs are bloody epic.

I'd love to see "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" in Rock Band. That song is hilarious. I'd love to see all my friends try to sing it. Hilarious.

I would take any song from The Darkness, though this song wouldn't be a bad choice at all. It would definitely get a lot of play at the party-like Rock Band sessions I occasionally have. In addition to a couple of other really good suggestions in this thread, I'd also have to add "Love On The Rocks With No Ice" as another personal favorite of mine that would fit the game rather well.

This would be a fun song, but look at the recent pattern of DLC we have been seeing lately. The only way this song makes it onto RB is if it is covered by some insipid nu-metal band.
