A long while back, on the guitar hero forums, a public vote was held byahjteam (cheers man, if youre reading this) for most wanted songs and bands for the benefit of the developers.
The results can still be found here:

Its nice to note that both Harmonix and Neversoft seem to have looked at this list, as you may note a lot of the songs are either on GH3 or Rock Band. So, its nice to see that the community is listened to. (i know theres been plenty of evidence of good community listening, but I felt this was good example).
So keep asking for those most wanted bands! (apart from the most obvious wanted ones, like Led Zep and AC/DC....I think theyve got the idea now :rolleyes: )
