Why is Rush so hyped in the game? They must have some sort of investment.

Why is Rush so hyped in the game? They must have some sort of investment.
because they are one of the greatest 3 piece bands ever. and they are perfect for the game.
bands with 1 guitarist = perfect for the game. we get to play all aspects of the band.
i realize rush has lots of synth in it as well, but who wants to play synth? its good background instrument we dont have to worry about not playing.
and we only have 2 Rush masters in the game... so why would they have investments into a game that they have 3 'as made famous by' tracks in?
rush sells. thats why theyre in the game. and plus, we need a master of Tom Saywer in the game, and then we wont have to import it form the RB1 disc. and we need the Limelight master as well. YYZ is a no brainer. and the rest of the album will be fantastic. and inexpensive, cause theres not too many tracks on it. annnnnd... the 11 minute song 'the camera eye'... who DOESNT wanna have an 11 minute song in the game? like cmon. this will be awesome.

It's gonna be a 5 songs pack. We already have Tom Sawyer and Limelight. YYZ is gonna be a blast to play, it was one of my fave on GH2. Notice that this will be the first instrumental song on RB. What will the singer do... cowbell all along ? Other than that, the others will be quite simple to play IMHO.

Tom Sawyer and Limelight are covers, the advertisement in the video also confirmed that they were including MASTER versions of both (Well one I guess, I'm assuming both).

It seems odd to me that it would be announced as "Including Tom Sawyer...". We already have that song so what's the big deal?
I'm not really a Rush fan, but I have liked (to some extent) the songs included in these games so far. I may D/L YYZ (Although singing is what I do most).
I wish they would include The Spirit of Radio in place of one of the songs we already have. :)
EDIT: Tom Sawyer master vs. cover (Would anyone actually pay to get a cover of a song they already have in the game?)

...we're paying for the MASTER, the cover is in game.

Typo on my part.

Talk about saturating the game with the same bands over and over, first NIN now Rush, what a joke, guess all HMX cares about is hitting that 500 mark.

Well, this makes for two new things: the first instrumental and the first 10+ minute long song.

Please try to keep all Rush related speculation to one thread to avoid repeats.
