I was just curious why everyone hates Creed so much. If they're so bad, why did they win a Grammy, get Best Rock Artist of the Year for 3 years straight, have 3 multi-platinum albums, and 2 albums that were number one on the Billboard 200? With those numbers, they can't be that bad...

Yes, I like Creed. They're not one of my favorite bands but I like their music a lot.

I hate bands that take risks, because they always seem to stray from what made them great.

To each, their own. I simply was giving some reasons in response to the OP as to why I think Creed is "hated" often.

Alot of people would agree with you 100%. That's cool too.. nobody is "right" about music.

popularity means nothing. britney spears won countless awards and is a millionare, that doesn't mean she's a virtuoso.

creed's songs are not only repetitive, they're very simple and nickelback-ish. that's why they're not good. they're not the worst band in the world, but they don't deserve anything they've won.
