Seriously... It's absolutely disgusting. If you think rock band is better than guitar hero or whatever other game, fine, but don't flame the other game every chance you get.

If you guys want to show guitar hero how it's done, then stop flaming their game. It's absolutely ridiculous to see the immaturity in these forums, it's pretty much everywhere.

You know how when you see certain catholics protesting every other religion, condemning people with other beliefs to hell, trying to convert every person they see in order to "save" them, and you think to yourself "Wow. Why do these people care so much?"?

That's exactly what you guys are making yourselves look like. Do you guys like stereotypes? Because I'm starting to assume that 90% of the rock band posters are in the inconsiderate close-minded group. It's getting worse and worse every day.

If you guys really want to mess with Guitar Hero, be mature about it. Don't give me that "Well the GH forums are close-minded towards RB as well!!!" b.s, because if I had to compare the fanboy-ism of the two groups, RB has many more outspoken loud-mouth fanboys.

If you guys want to stick it to GH, being immature about it isn't the way, because most people don't consider the views of close-minded people. Be more mature than them and you guys will win.

That's a prime example of why I also believe that I wasted my time writing this thread, because these types of people won't be able to read or comprehend what i'm saying.

Yes, I fully support this thread. It seems that no one here can mention Guitar Hero without expressing some kind of pointless hatred and without screaming "ZOMG OVARCHARTED!!!1!". GH:WT isn't even out yet and people are talking about how terrible the game is.

I'm not an Activision fan, and I actually think GH3 was a step back for the franchise, but that doesn't mean they can't make a good game. They've had an entire year since RB to research and bring forth their own band game, and I think they have had and will have the better instruments.

Seems to me like a lot of people here are trying to convince themselves that the game is bad without actually playing it so they won't feel like they're missing out if they don't buy it.

I completely agree with this. Being a HUGE fan of both games, I'll admit that I hang out here because of the fanboyism of the GH forums. I'm a GH fan, but I'm a sensible one at that. It's insulting seeing all the crap GH gets here. I feel truly insulted reading some of these things, all the while the RB fanboys(not all RB fans) claim to be "better" than the GH fanboys while the RB fanboys are out there making idiots out themselves just like the GH ones are.

Now if I was on a GH forum I would stick up for RB just like I am for GH right here, but I'm not. I'm on the RB forums where the fans are supposedly more mature, and a good 60-70% of them are. It's the other 40-30% that need to grow up.

Oh yeah, you guys realize that because of certain patents that HMX owns, they get a cut of every copy of GH that gets sold? So more sales for GH, more $ for HMX, which means they have more resources to make better games and more licensing.

So in the end, success for GH is good business for your beloved HMX.
