i dont think i herd "I am Your Captian" by Grand Funk Railroad yet ill have to check it out if its so high on your list

I do wish Like a Rolling stone was higher on the list. Well maby not for Classic rock standards but for general music standards its my favorite. the lyrics are some of the best ever written

I'm Your Captain is just a preety powerful song with emotion. In retrospect, I would have put it a Tense bit lower (maybe in the high teens) but its still good were it is.

whe2r32 stairway!??!? /sarcasm

Its a good list, though what was the list based on?

just on our opinions and the song its self (like how it sounded). Also on the emotion of the song, sort of.

Its a really good song something i would listen to on a regular basis too
I love "Somekind Of Wonderfull" tho i dident see it on your list.

I dident see any faces either They may not be as popular but they can go up among many of the big bands

"Miss Judys farm"
and of corse "stay with me"

Stairway may be way overrated, but come on, you've gotta have it in the top 100.

I don't blame you though, Few have heard of TMG outside of Australia.

Well, as a joke we SPECIFICALLY left it of because we were tired of almost every list having it.
Instead we put When the Levee Breaks, which both of us like a whole lot more then Stairway and I think sounds better with that awesome harmonica.

Overall amazing list. Some of the Rush songs were a little out of order to me, but I liked that Heartbreaker was the top ranked Zeppelin song. But who decided not to include Deep Purple, Kansas, Blue Oyster Cult, or Foghat on the list?

CRAP!
I forgot HUSH! shoot! Thanks for reminding me. I guess we can make a updated list later :\

easily a much better song. When the levee breaks is the best song off that album. Black dog 2nd.

Too much Who on this list. Seems biased.

I agree 100%, but to say that Stairway isn't in the top 100 classic rock songs, it kind of kills a lot of your credibility.

Yeah, but like I said, we did that on purpose. We wanted a stairway free list.

Closer to the Heart, number 2?!?!?

i mean yeah its a good song but it shouldn't even be in the top 100

That one i do disagree with, but to say not in top 100..... I don't know.
It seems every top 100 list only has one rush song: Tom Sawyer. There are MUCH better songs by rush. They should definatly be mroe Rush on the top 100 lists people make.

I agree 100%. Tom Sawyer is a great song, but it is not Rush's greatest song. Working Man, Anthem and the Spirit of Radio are awesome songs that would work on a top 100 list as far as Rush songs go.

Credibility? Horsepuckey. If putting an over-rated song where it doesn't belong gives me credibility, then Chris Crocker's straight.

Since when is 1991 considered classic rock?

Also, how do you have Anyway You Want It, but not Don't Stop Believing?
I'm not too keen on this list.
