Since this is getting out of control already, I thought I could shade some light and let it be final. I called GS two different times today and asked whether that particular store was having the midnight release. The information I am getting at this time is "Not sure".
Everyone has to remember that there were many, many, many copies of GH3 to justify a midnight release. However, my Gamestop is only handling 20 preorders.
HOWEVER!!!!!!....I was told by 3 different stores to check online 2 days before the release (11/20/07) to see the partcipating Gamestop stores having midnight releases.
So there it is...it will be posted on Gamestop.com shortly before the release. Just as it was for GH3 on 10/26/07. Although I did attend the midnight release at GS, I had a copy preordered at another GS. I cancelled the one that wasn't having the midnight release. So by the time we find out which ones will be having one a midnight express, it will be to late to get a preorder at a GS that is having one.
