GHII vs. RB controller

Hi! I apologize if this has been answered, but looking at other posts, I couldn't tell.

A. Is the GHII controller for Xbox 360 compatible with RB for Xbox 360?
b. How do the two compare? Is the RB control closer to GHII or GHIII?

All Guitar Hero controllers are compatible with Rock Band (assuming they are of the same console type).

I think the Stratocaster is way different than either the X-Plorer or Les Paul. The Les Paul and X-Plorer are more similar to each other than anything....

A. Yes. However the RB controller will not work with GH from what I hear.
B. Neither. The RB controller is kind of a thing on its own...it'll be bigger, and it's supposed to have a different feel to it. Maybe someone who has tested the demo can answer the question better, I haven't tried it yet myself.

1. Yes
2. Can't say, I've never used the X-Plorer. I'd hope it's closer to GH II, because the GHIII guitar is terrible because of the detachable neck.

b. How do the two compare? Is the RB control closer to GHII or GHIII? Neither. The Strat in all is it's own kind. Size, strumming, weight, the effects switch all really differentiate it.
