If you haven't heard of Alter Bridge, I would Highly, Highly recommend them. If their New Disc, Black Bird, becomes DLC, Rock Band would have some incredibly fun but difficult Guitar Parts (listen to the Song Blackbird, sheer genius). But their other stuff would be fun too, especially Open Your Eyes (I guarantee that you've heard this song before). Any way, if you've never heard of Alter Bridge, you should definately check them out.
Songs I'd Like To see:
Open Your Eyes
and
Anything from their Album Black Bird (specifically the title track)

Yes, that is exactly who they are. I agree with you. No Alter Bridge.

Eh, give em a break they got stuck with a bat**** crazy frontman for years. Not their fault. I was just saying in another topic "One Day Remains" from their first album would be sick.

Hey, if you listen to Blackbird, they don't sound like Creed. Trust me, if you didn't know they were originally in Creed, you still wouldn't know after listening to this album. It really is great. Someone made a custom track for Guitar Hero II using the song "Buried Alive" from their new album. Check it out.

These guys aren't Creed. Give it a chance. Here's some more stuff.

"Ties That Bind" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ko6tfrjc1E0
This is the stuff they always wanted to do, but they couldn't because of Scott Stapp and Wind-up Records. Also, if you read any reviews, most of them confirm that they've pretty much moved away from the days of old.

You only need to listen to them once to know that they're not Creed any more. Myles Kennedy is a truly awesome vocalist, and the rest of the band are absolutely superb. I'd love some Alter Bridge on RB.

Correction. You need to listen to their latest album "Blackbird" to know that they're not Creed anymore. "One Day Remains" sounds similar to Creed with a new singer, but you can tell they were moving away from their roots. "Blackbird" puts the nail in Creed's coffin.
Granted, I liked Creed, but then I realized Scott Stapp is an *******. Although I think they've had some good songs like "One Last Breath" (love the guitar) that would be suitable for RB.
But anyway, if you ask me, I think that the entire "Blackbird" album should be made for download. Each song sounds pretty challenging to play, no matter what you choose (drums, vocals, guitar, bass). The only exception would probably be the soft sounding "Watch Over You."
If I had to choose one song by Alter Bridge, it would be "Blackbird" hands down. It's an epic song with an epic solo... or at least I think so. If it was a 3 pack, I'd have "Blackbird", "Ties That Bind", and "One Day Remains."
