So last week I saw an auction for Rock Band on E-Bay. Was looking just to be curious as I had zero intention on buying a demo. The listing said this-
This was purchased when it was put on the shelf by accident at a local retailer. We have it NOW! You can really be the first to own one! This is the full version not a demo! This is a short 3 day auction so that we can get it to you FAST! Good Luck! Rock On!
THIS IS FACTORY SEALED!
So I send a little note to the seller asking how would you know for sure it's not just a Wal-Mart demo unit if the box is sealed (was a PS3 version).
They sent me a note back saying they took pictures of the box that described the features and what made me think they got it at Wal-Mart. I sent back my theory that the only PS3 units that anyone was likely to have purchased was a demo from Wal-Mart as Best Buy had 360 demos etc...
Never heard back after that. Sold for $350.00
I wonder if the buyer knew it would only be a demo or if he is really pissed right about now lol.
