European RockBander's. Culture question. Familiar with setlist?

I have lots of friends that were born various European countries and grew up there. I always like discussing culture differences with them. Just curious how familiar europeans are with the songs on RockBand and how excited are you about them?

I know all of the songs except a few. I dont think theres a culture difference at all (in the setlist), well, not at least with England. The only reason I can think of of people not knowing the songs is because they dont listen to rock or have never ventured anywhere other than the latest music.
The only songs I had not heard before are "Welcome Home" and "The Hand that Feeds" but thats probably because I dont really like those bands and Im not interested in mainstream modern music.

I could imagine a lot of people overhere havent heard of Rush because they were never really big overhere except around the late 70s-early 80s........unfortunately, thats around the time of the NWOBHM scene, so no-one remembers any other music from the period really.

What is the NWOBM scene?

^New Wave of British Heavy Metal. It was around the late 70s and early 80s. It was a time when loads of small bands were started being heavily influenced by the hard rock of the early 70s. There were thousands of bands started, not many of them are remembered anymore.

However, the most famous to emerge from this scene:
Iron Maiden (of course!)
Motorhead
Girlschool
Blitzkrieg (whos self-titled song was covered by Metallica)
Angel Witch
Samson
White Spirit
.....loads of others.

This genre in turn heavily influenced pretty much all metal music made afterwards, especially thrash metal and power metal.
