This might be a stupid question but i'll ask anyway. Does anyone know if its possible to use an external usb hard drive, such as the western digital passport, for more storage space on the ps3? I have a 60gb system and its got about 15 to 20 gigs left. Too many dl games and Rock Band DLC!!!

I believe any usb HDD will work, at least for media files (photos, music, and movies)... but I am not sure if you can move games and play them from the external HDD (probably not). They just need to be formatted with the FAT32 system, and the PS3 will recognize them.

You can also remove the internal HDD and completely replace it with a bigger one (a 2.5" SATA drive). I believe the owner's manual actually tells you how to do it, and people have made guides on the PS3 Forums (http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/) as well.
