When does school start for you?

I go to a private school that doesn't follow any of the district rules, so I started school today. It was just freshmen orientation, though (which I really don't need because I've gone to this school for the past two years). Anyways, I had fun and met some new people. When does school start for everybody [who has it] on the forums?

I start tomorrow. Although today I got up at 6 in the morning to get up get ready for school and got on the bus (my sister rides my bus it picks us both up) and have the bus driver tell me school starts tomorrow. I've been laughing all day.:D

Class starts next Tuesday but all the little freshies have been moving into the dorms this week and they are annoying.

When any of you go to college, don't walk around your first week there like you own the place. Upperclassmen don't appreciate it and it makes you look like a doofus.

Ya, same here. Except I go to a private school and seniors are nice there...........it prolly helps that I'm 6'2" lol

If your at a new school (middle school to high school), act like you know what you're doing and where you're going even if you don't. Memorize class list before you go so you don't have to look at it constantly.

I was a senior in high school a few years back. The seniors pick on the freshmen that don't look like they know what they are doing.

Kinda the same thing in college too except I have to help them now since I drive the transit bus for the college.

Ehh, that's not so bad. I got out on June 20-something last year and went back on August 27th. That wasn't so much fun... I honestly don't mind starting after Labor Day. It makes sense to me.

School starts about late Jan/early Feb here (in Australia) at the start of the year, which makes sense to me. Then early December you graduate.

Does that just make more sense? Crazy americans with your crazy summer vacation in the middle of the year.
