Mine was Pinkerton, though I'd say the most popular is Blue.

I also really love the first half of Red. Troublemaker, Greatest Man that ever Lived, Heart songs, Pork and Beans, etc. easily top my favorite Weezer songs.

Not only do I PLAY it. I'm literally sitting right next to a foosball table as we speak. And I'm not one of those lame cheaters who spins the handle.

Just for the record Mr. Cuomo (err not Cuomo)...

I was standing a Best Buy watching some random peeps play Rock Band and they were choosing which songs to play and they said Say It Ain't So was boring.

I gave them a stern talking to! If anything that's one of the best songs Weezer or anyone has ever written in the entirety of the universe. It's inclusion on Rock Band alone further implies how awesome it is.

Also, might I recommend you give the band Fall Out Boy a listen. They are incredible and actually very 80s and metal influenced (like yourself). Even if they're not your cup of tea. I am curious what you think about them.


OH! Favorite Weezer albums are as follows ===>

BLUE, PINKERTON, GREEN, RED, MAKE BELIEVE, MALADROIT

Why?

1.) Blue is perfect in it's mix of grunge/rock, pop. Also it's just a record of 10 incredible songs and lyrics that seem very sincere, clever and personal.

2.) Pinkerton is like the stages of denial, depression, etc. It tells a woeful tale that many can relate to and is very personally revealing and raw.

3.) GREEN has some solid hits on it but is UNINSPIRED with it's boring melody copying solos.

4.) Red is still settling in my mind so currently no real opinion. However I like it, although I feel it didn't "ROCK" enough. I need some heavy melody going on, some heavy rock. I liked that about Make Believe, Pink, and blue... they seem to have the right amount of that.

5.) Make Believe --- It's good, but a lot of the songs sound similar so I have a hard time knowing which are which sometimes. I really like the rock-out nature of WAAOD as well as Pardon Me and Peace. Solid record. Actually it's probably better than green but whatever. It's hard to make these lists eh?

6.) Maladroit. I just don't like it that much. No offense. The songs are fun to play but not as much fun to listen to. Except Burnt Jamb (which has a melody that sounds rippped off) and Keep Fishing... and maybe December.
