I don't understand itunes pre orders

I pre ordered the new slipknot album

Or at least I think I did

It got to a point where it said it would send me an email telling me I've been charged for it and to come download it

Now its officially out since its past midnight and I haven't gotten an email yet

So do they just take a really long time to tell you you can get it or what? I'd just go click the buy now button but then I don't want to accidently buy it twice

I would just go to sleep and deal with it in the morning. Sometimes it just takes a few hours for things like that to be sent.

I was just kidding - like how brick and mortar stores will sometimes give away special incentives (like T-shirts or stuffed animals or limited edition tampons) with pre-orders, iTunes would have to give away something digital - like a photograph of a free item that you can't actually have.

It'd only be an incentive for me to pre-order is if they gave a small discount or something... or maybe even if you get it one day before everyone else. Or like it enters you into a contest... *shrugs* xD
