Power Metal Setlist

I have been wishing some Power metal were put in the game. Sweet songs and great sounds to listen to. Good drum and vocals to make it worth while. Heres some ideas for bands.

Maybe Far From Heaven or Blind Leading the Blind

Nocturnal Rites- Awakening *Definitly
Also Against the world, Avalon, Never Again, Egyptica or even New World Order

Nightwish- Nemo
Or new Fronted song Amaranth

Tarot- Ashes to the Stars

And if they aren't too young ...
Excalion - Wingman

These are a few not-so-known bands, but every person that has heard there music loves it. And every one of the songs has a crazy solo in it that sounds like it could be fun to try to play. And the best part is they couldn't be that hard to get to do it, it could only help them.

Some very good European power metal here with the exception of Nightwish, whom Im not too fond of. Bonus points, otherwise, from straying from the mainstream power metal acts like Blind Guardian, Hammerfall, Manowar, Kamelot, or Sonata Artica. Would like to see some older Power Metal represented through Helloween, Jag Panzer, Dio, Gamma Ray or even Stratovarius.

Overall pretty good choices.

I'd definitely like to have some Nocturnal Rites. I know a lot of people aren't fond of the Zackrisson-era Nocturnal Rites, but I'd like to see at least a couple from there. Newer stuff, like from Afterlife, Shadowland, etc, would be great too.

Axenstar and Excalion are personal favorites.

I'd throw in some Ayreon (Off of Flight of the Migrator or Star One: Space Metal) and some Eric Norlander (mostly from Into the Sunset) to make it a personal favorite, but you have some nice choices.
