I'm soo happy for you dude. I hope everyone posts their experiences with it. I just bought my PS3, so I'm a little strapped for cash now...hopefully I'll be able to get one around christmas.

This has probably been asked, but since I don't feel like lookin.....Is the 20th the ship date or can I walk in and pick up my preorder first thing tuesday morning?

go in on the 20th and pick it up. Most retailers should already have it or be getting it very soon.

At exactly this time next week, I will be sitting at work staring at the time. Then I will still have to make a 1.5 hour drive before getting to play it!

I have school on Tuesday and Wednesday... :( That sucks.... but I know the four day weekend I will be prisoner to my room playing RB :D

Man - I'm so bummed out - my Xbox started acting up last night - freezing up and stuff at the start up just like it did before the last one died. Sigh... I can easily get it replaced, but I don't want to have to wait another 6 weeks for Rock Band! - i hope it'll hold out long enough to at least get in a day or two. Lame! Still, my brother has a 360 too, I'll just have to drive 5 hours to play it with him.

btw, will any of you be playing immediately online? or will you be giving the single player tour a whirl first?

Same here. I am going straight to the drums! I played some drums in college, but I am still expecting it to take some practice before I am willing to take it online :D
