my rockband mic won't work

two days ago i waz playing rock band as singer and the mic wirked perfectly.
i shut rockband off for two hours and then turned it on and i playd singer and i couldn't here my words on the tv speakers.

Turn the voice volume up in the settings!

or if that dont work use the XBOX headset like i do (thats if u got the 360 version)

If you are using a Xbox 360 headset, don't forget to turn it on. It sounds stupid, I know, but I sang through half a song once before realising the mic wasn't on. Doh :-(

Unplug and then replug the mic from the console.
If that's not it maybe you submerged the mic in some liquid?
