BOTB= Battle Of The Bands, i've been seeing threads about "now for the big annoucment" what excatly is that announcement i havent catched on or some thing my bad if this has already been posted.

Rock Band is going to come out of the closet.

That, or Rock Band is running for President.

Apparently the winner is supposed to have some exclusive Rock Band news. They should post it either tonight or tomorrow I would think, since BOTB recently ended and a winner was named. No one knows exactly what the announcement will entail.

It's probably something about DLC, I bet it's either going to be announcing some new big band is releasing DLC for Rock Band such as Led Zep or AC/DC or it's the revealing of what Metallica tracks are DLC.

After years of therapy to deal with the crushing/soul-destroying disappointment I imagine I could laugh about it, but still have a nervous twitch in my eye every time the words Rock and Band are said in the same sentence.

@ Rock Band being vaporware... erm... i'd be crushed. six months of my life spent obsessing over RB... when I could've been obsessing over something else... like... Eliza Dushku, or a Hayabusa, or the !DmkIII...

WRONG!

Best possible thing for DLC would be a GnR song pack.. or an entire abum.. an AC/DC Song Pack.. or an album.. A Cream song pack.. or more song packs.. an Led Zepplin song pack, or album, and a Van Halen song pack or album.

That's what I am praying for to be released as DLC, I hope HMX could get rights to some of these bands..

No clue what the announcement is, but I expect it'll probably be some news that was already leaked in some way or another.

Or it'll be DLC related (if it's exclusive, we have a chance at hoping for big bands, but still not a huge one)

Then there's the slim chance of a patch putting BWT online that isn't super likely.

My guess is that it's DLC pricing, the Metallica DLC, a DLC schedule, or some combination thereof.
