Camping out in front of BestBuy is your best bet. Amazon says that there is a possibility you won't get it until mid-December, even if you ask for the 15$ one day shipping which I did. If you do neither, my guess is that it will be complicated to get one. They are going to be selling like crazy as soon as it's released, and with Christmas coming up, it will be even crazier. If your willing to camp out at BestBuy and/or you can't wait more than 3 or 4 weeks for the game, do it.

Right now.

I would call up your local store, and see what their plans are, and plan accordingly. I imagine if they plan on getting a decent amount of bundles in, there's no need to go more than a few hours in advance.

If you don't get it on release day, your body might begin to keel over and fail due to lack of rock... similar to dehydration or dying of hunger.

That, makes sence but i cant do it like a day ahead so after school on launch date ill probly call and ask how many they have and then swing over to see how long the lines are.

You'll be the only one sitting there if you showed up the night before lol. I would say show up about 2hrs max before store opening.

It's going to be pretty much sold at the same price no matter where you go, so the store doesn't matter. Find the store that opens the earliest, and camp out 2hrs prior to opening.

I have a preorder at Gamestop, but I still plan on showing up at least a half hour early :)

Rock Band will be very scarce, but not because of sellouts so quickly, but just low stock.

It's not so much like there will be dozens of people waiting outside a store, but just that you need to be one of the first to get in to get Rock Band.

It's not like last year when people would show up at 5:30am to get a Wii (my friend and her bf did that at a Target on a Sunday). But you do want to be there as early as possible.

Even 1-2hrs is more than enough I think. That's just to be safe. Better to be wicked early and guaranteed first one in, rather than show up later because you thought it wouldn't be too bad. But pulling an overnighter is a little much lol.

I wouldn't bother with the BB Midnight Release stores, those will most likely be all the pre-ordered people getting their's.

so i'll be doing the same thing, lining up somewhere early tuesday morning.....hopefully I get across the border fairly quick.....so if i'm only going to 1 store, which is the best? Best Buy, Walmart, Target, or somewhere else??? Really, I guess i'm asking, which 1 is the most likely to have more stock at 10 when the doors open???

Well, Best Buy is doing midnight releases, so that would be a bad choice to try on Tuesday morning.

I would say Wal-Mart would be the next best thing. They're the largest out of any other chain stores. Therefore, they probably have the largest inventory of it most likely.

Don't yell at me if you go there and don't get it though!

Not all Best Buys are, so its best to call your local store up and see. Neither of the stores here are doing the midnight thing, and you'd think in a college town, where people go to bed at 5am, it'd be guaranteed.
