Drum insurance?

If you have tried the Best Buy demo of Rock Band, you may notice the drums being broken of some sort. (I've noticed it alot in multiple stores) My question is how reliable are the drums and is their some sort of insurance or repair service available to the consumer?

That would blow chunks to have a broken drum kit so early after release.

It's already been noted that the gear at the demo stations are pre-production and less solid than the final builds.

That's good to know because the guitar at my Best Buy is completely screwed...no whammy bar, strap is gone, down strum doesn't work. Drums work fine though, surprisingly.
