Do these have the RRoD problem like the regular systems? I'm looking around at things for christmas so I thought I'd ask.

They shouldn't, they have new fans and coolers to prevent overheating.

Had my pro for over a year now, either it's the luck of the draw or that fan I have hooked on the back is being really friendly.

360's with the lot numbers of 735 or higher are the best ones. I have an Elite lot number 726, and its doing just fine.

It's also loaded with *** porn and demos, don't forget the midget that popped out when you took your HD drive off :D

This is true...my new 120GB hard drive was loaded with so many pointless things like demos, videos, and themes...Smoka can attest. I spent like 10 minutes deleting all that crap while in private chat with him.

I'm seeing signs on the horizon that the 20 GB model is becoming a dated option. If you can easily swing the upgrade to the bigger hard drive, you might want to.
Nothing worse than not having enough space for all the DLC goodness out there.
And I think all the xboxes manufactured in the last few months have the new heatsinks and stuff to prevent overheating.

Is the pro 20gb?

Yes, but really... 20GB isn't that bad if you're just getting RB stuff. 20GB will be more than plenty for all the DLC.

But what about other games...if you pack that 20GB with all RB stuff you might run out of room.
What happens with the 20GB is once you plug it into the system, you magically lose 8GB somehow. So you are left with 12.

MS recently announced an initative where you can DL entire Xbox 1 games. Some of those measure in the *gigs* of space. If that's the direction they're going.... 20 GB, 12 usable is not very much at all.

Yeah, thats a good move. DivX was confirmed to be added soon for the PS3 and it's a rumor for the 360. So, on top of that and RB DLC, I'm picking up a 500GB drive for a shade over 100 dollars.

Where exactly do you find the lot number. I got mine at the PX in a "Military Appreciation Pack". The manufacturing date was Sept 06, but I couldn't find the lot number. I'm thinking I should be scared. :(

The lot number is on that white sticker I think under one of the bar codes. It kinda sticks out...just says "Lot #(instert number here)"

I found the number... I was looking on the console, not the box. I'm lot 715. guess I better by a cooling station to hold of the ol' Red-Ring.

Whatever you do. Make sure the cooling device you purchase is connected to an alternate power source and not the 360...because it will drain power from the 360 and cause problems.

I think the key to having a 360 live is to:
A) keep it horizontal
B) keep it in a open area with good airflow above and behind it.
Between my brother and I, we've had 360's for a long time, with neither of us RRoD'ing.
