Zune Software Update

For all five of us in the world who own a Zune, a major software and firmware update was released today.

I've always been fond of my Zune, but as a sort of awkward cute little brother.

With the new software updates and the new hardware version coming out, the device appears to be a credible contender in the MP3 market. No Ipod killer, but a credible alternative.

So if you have a Zune, check it out. And if you're fed up with your current MP3 player, gen 1 Zunes are under $100 and are a completely decent deal now.

I kid. I actually was just amused by the lack of response in a Zune thread. (I just have some ghetto MP3 player that I barely use anyways.)

I use the zune software on my computer to filter my movies to the xbox360 on my tv. It is sweet looking with the new update, much better looking than itunes, but ill never buy a zune, I'm too much of an apple fan.

Definitely getting the new Zune 80 this weekend. My 3rd gen ipod has been dead for awhile now and working out/driving/doing anything SUCKS without a mp3 player. New Zune looks like just the ticket!

I bought a Zune on launch date. It rocked ipod's socks, IMO. I haven't checked out the updates yet, though.

I like zune because of the comedy section on the marketplace. I type for a living-for now- so laughing keeps me going. 15 bucks a month and they have a pretty decent library. The zune interface is much better now.

I have a Zune as well. Haven't DL'ed the update yet though. I somewhat upset that M$ always has to release a new improved version of thier products.
