Male avatar singing female songs?

I was curious as to how male singers in the game could sing female songs. By some magic they turn into women? Or maybe they just call in the backup? Someone help!

In Karaoke Revolution (I would assume Rock Band is the same) they can sing it all.

I think it would be a slight bit awkward to see a male singer on stage and hear a female voice come out.. I don't know if thats just me or what.. But the same could be said for Female singers hearing a male voice come out.. I think RB will have gender confused singers..

We've got a female singer planned for our band already (IRL), so we're going to change the avatar anyway. I'm sure it does it automatically, though.

There are plenty of singers that do girl covers... But this is where the problem comes in, it won't be a male doing a cover of the female song (which wouldn't look so strange). You'll have a big muscled guy singing with a sweet soft voice, which is... kinda like some of my friday nights ;) rawr.

For vocal solo tour or the band tour, the vocalist's avatar will be the one singing. Whether it be a guy singing a girl, or vice-versa. If you find it strange, you can always turn off the in-game vocals.

(Or, if you find it attractive, you can turn off the player's vocals.)

I posted in another thread how funny it was gonna be seeing a big burly guy singing Maps with all the emotion seen in the vid. Gonna be a funny sight for sure.
