Taking a break from all the release issues ...
Some songs when they were announced might not have excited you too much. But after some time passes you might have changed your mind about certain songs/artists, maybe beause you listened to it on a few more times or whatever.
So the question is, What song(s) are now looking forward to that you weren't so excited about when it was announced? Either DLC or the main disc content is fair game.
Personally, some of the Grateful Dead stuff seems more interesting than when it was first announced and, off the main disc, Don't Fear the Reaper just keeps growing on me.
How about you?

After reading the GameSpy article about the Battle of the Bands finals, I can't wait to get to rock out to Green Grass & High Tides Forever...
Thanks to two epic guitar solos that make "Freebird" look like "Three Blind Mice," the song stretches close to ten minutes long

I'll agree with you on GG&HT, but I also want to say Tom Sawyer. I've always liked the song, but I never knew how challenging the drums were, until I played it at the rock band tour. Now that is going to be the song thats going to kick my ass on drums, and I'm looking forward to every second of it.:D

When You Were Young is growing on me since I've played it in GH3, as is Cherub Rock.

I am so very kidding. Green Grass.. for sure. When it was first announced I was like ehh..that's a cool song. Then I thought about the EPIC guitar work. This one is gonna be a blast to play!

Maps and Cherub Rock. Maps seems like it will be enjoyable on vocals. I've never liked the Smashing Pumpkins, just something about Korgan's voice tricked me into thinking their songs have no intensity. After listening a bit more, I think the song is crazy, and will especially be a blast on drums.
Also, Wave of Mutilation.

In bloom. The whole hitting two drums at once while ascending thing was just too awesome.

I've played it over and over at BB but I can't wait to play Black Hole Sun, Are you gonna be my girl, Dani California(these three in full with the foot pedal), and I can't wait to play The Hand That Feed. I think the Flyleaf song will be fun as Bonus, and as for DLC...againts others opinions, I'd love to see some Avenged Sevenfold. And possibly some Three Days Grace also.

I've never been a huge fan of Bowie or RHCP, but after listening to "Suffragette City" and "Dani California", I'm looking forward to playing/singing those.

Ballroom Blitz.
When it was first announced, I scratched my head, and figured I'd never play it. But after hearing it a few times since then, its pretty catchy, and the drums should be a lot of fun. Guitar too, I guess. Vocals too, probably.
