Okay so i was just listening to Sum 41 and i think some songs from them would be fun and also... No more Tears by Ozzy Ozbourne and some Metallica (Fade to Black, unforgiven, master of puppets, Seek N Destroy, Battery, sanitarium, nothing else matters) i mean i heard a metallica guitar hero was coming out but as BADASS metallica is on the guitar you gotta appreciate their drums too. and also i think Whats my age again would be a fun simple on by Blink 182 to have or first date by Blink 182. Bryan adams Summer of 69' CMON .. he got his first real six string, bought it at the 5 AM down lol. Also, Papa roach, Last resort and Scars. For some easy listening i personally like Graham Colton Band or Jack Johnson. JOURNEY would be sweet! cuz of the singing and the band part; particularly Dont Stop believing. and then Limp Bizkit could have some fun ones. NICKELBACK would be awesome too. White Stripes and Hate to say i told you so by The Hives. Blur - Woo Hoo would be another fun one. House of the rising sun, Smoke on the water and some Eagles would be more great ideas. anyways i will probably come up with more but i just wanna get some of these more fun and recognized songs on there cuz i havent even heard of most the songs that are on teh DLC list. Thank you!

All I saw was Nickelback between a bunch of random letters and stuff. I stopped trying after that.

wow... kids.. i was just throwing ideas out and i typed this in about 2 minutes. so sorry that you people cant understand and obviously you get on here to critique everyones threads rather than tell the community bout your ideas

Erm, I don't think you're in any position to call someone kid given your horrendous sentences that aren't sentences. I'll put you on 12 years old.

We weren't critiquing, per se, we just wanted to be able to quickly browse through your ideas. I fully understand writing quick and just wanting to get an idea out there, but the internet is full of people who don't want to have to scan through a few run-on sentences to get to the major points. Had each idea not seamlessly flowed into the next everyone would have been able to agree (or disagree) to your thoughts, tastes, ideas, and suggestions rather than just bash the fluidity of it all.
And seeing that you're rather new here you might not have had the time to take note that most people do like to post their ideas in some sort of list fashion, as duly noted by bse523. Taking time to form well thought out ideas always garners the best reactions.
Edit: And sadly, not doing so brings about comments like the one posted just a brief moment before this.

Well #1 BSE i'm 22 years old and have went to college and wrote essays in three seperate English classes. I do know how to write essays WHEN I'M WRITING ESSAYS! I don't plan on using spell check, apostrophe's, periods, or non-slang words when im writing a thread on the internet. Notice how I was grammatically correct in this posting with periods and capitalization and even a couple apostrophe's and such. If you find any errors be sure to let me know since you are the professional. As for you SCE, I was in no way trying to attack you since all you did was take my mess and list it, However, my intention was to post this for the Harmonix and Activision team to see. I can really care less about the others except for the fact that i wanted to see everyones ideas about what songs they might like but instead i get a bunch of english majors teaching me how to write.
p.s. it looked the way it did cuz i text non-stop so i have learned to cram lots of info into an 160 word text. Thanks for listening

Thanks for listening
No prob.
But, may I suggest and redirect your attention to the Request Song (http://www.rockband.com/request_song) link at the bottom of the page? While these forums are great for posting our thoughts, and more or less discussing them, I'm not sure how often our nearly four hundred pages of threads gets read by the Harmonix team. This way your thoughts have a better chance of directly getting to the people in charge rather than the huge lot of naysayers on this forum.

Actually, Last Resort IS a Papa Roach song, and I THINK Scars is too, not sure.
Oh, and he also mentioned What's My Age Again? by Blink 182 "or" First Date.
Other that you deciphered it quite well. ...And after re-reading, you did mention What's My Age Again, so good job sir.
Other than that, it's called "Song 2" by Blur.
Now, onto the song choices. Battery is already in Rock Band 2, excellent research. Other than that, you have some decent choices from them. Unforgiven and Nothing Else Matters are HORRIBLE RB choices though.
Sum 41 fails half of the time. Blink 182 fails. So does Papa Roach and Limp Bizkit. In fact, Limp Bizkit fails harder than almost any legitimate band I can think of, including DragonFarce. So you automatically lose for mentioning them.
The Eagles, White Stripes, and some other suggestions are pretty good, but you STILL fail for your wall of mostly unintelligible text. Plus you want ****ing Limp Bizkit, so you, sir, have epic fail.

well im trying to find songs that are good for the entire rockband setup; Drums guitar AND vocals and songs like toxicity by System of the down isnt exactly the best vocal song to sing since the majority of the song is screaming words. But bands like Sum 41, Blink 182, Limp Bizkit, are all easy on the voice box. And Nothing Else Matters by Metallica is such a CHILL song easy on the drums and vocals and some pretty decent guitar solos BUT i am going to have to agree with you on the Unforgiven one even though i mentioned it in the first place. i just had a listen and i have always liked it but i dont think it would be good for rockBand and as for all you talking about songs that i mentioned that are already on RB2 well this just proves my point that i made about not being a gamer because i didnt even know there was a RB2 coming out.
