I would like to note that I slapped this together in about 2 hours in the midst of the wee hours of the morning, so I could probably do better if I A: Waited 'til morning, and B: Put more thought into it. But whatever.
Also, I don't like ALL of the artists on the list, I wanted to make it more varied (example, I don't like punk, but I can't just exclude it entirely =p) Here goes. Oh, and as for the bonus songs. I'm not widley familiar with HMX bands besides Bang Camaro, so I took it more as either very widely unknown bands or songs that just can't be taken seriously.
Oh, and, I would like to note that this topic was inspired by another topic about a potential "rock band 3 setlist" which I was going to try and find. But I couldn't find it browsing through page after page, the search function came up with no results, so yeah. I don't remember who made it, but whoever did, you get credit.

I'd buy it but I'd change...
The Rolling Stones - Paint It Black: Replace with Sympathy for the Devil. Paint it Black would be unusable anyway.
The Kinks - You Really Got Me: Replace with Lola, but then it'd be moved the 70's.
The Who - I Can’t Explain: Magic Bus
Jefferson Airplane - Somebody to Love: White Rabbit
Queen - March of the Black Queen: Any large number of popular Queen songs.
Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water: Hush wich would move it to the 60's to replace Lola.
David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust: Starman of course.
Iron Maiden - Seventh Son of a Seventh Son: Hallowed Be Thy Name or any other frequently requested song.
Metallica - Fuel: See Queen, replacing Queen with Metallica.
Tool - Forty-six & 2: Eulogy
Godsmack - Moonbaby: Voodoo
Live - Lakini's Juice: Dolphin's Cry
Nirvana - Breed: Rape Me
Pantera - Cowboys From Hell: Walk or Cemetary Gates
Pearl Jam - Once: Jeremy
REM - Losing My Religion: End of the World,What's the Frequency Kenneth or Man on the Moon
Radiohead - Pop Is Dead: Karma Police
Blue October - Into the Ocean: Razorblade
I rather dislike most of the 2000's section but don't really know how to fix it either since I don't like most of those bands other than White Stripes and Nightwish wich are fine as is.

Not To Shabby
For Me "The Kids Arent Alright" By The Offspring, Out For Nirvana In The 90's , they are just wayyyy to overplayed, and Maybe Switch around one or two other songs ,other than that its pretty solid.

Very valid points, sir, thank you. The only two things I can really defend myself on, however, are Queen and Pearl Jam =p Queen I went with March of the Black Queen because it's basically hailed as a precursor to Bohemian Rhapsody, and the song in general is just awesome and people would be like "LOLWUT? Oh."
And I almost went with Jeremy by Pearl Jam, but that song is much more overplayed than Once, so I chose that one instead,
