I'm sorry, but are you kidding? Harmonix never promised the Metallica single. They said Metallica had reserved the rights to release their new single for Rock Band. That means METALLICA chooses whether or not they want to release it with Rock Band when the time comes.

What they all said above. You're obviously blind or can't read as if you could you would see the 500 threads posted about DLC compatibility everyday on this forum.

I couldn't care less if we don't get the single anyway. It's a weak track and is badly mixed.

They just said it would be for Rock Band, DLC works for BOTH Rock Bands. Stop whining about nothing. Besides, the new single sucks anyway.

The song works in both games. Unless you're talking about exclusivity in regard to GH in which case, who cares.

I agree with the OP. I HATE video game companies that stay in close contact with their fans, maintain a thriving community, and somehow manage to release brand new content for their game every single week. Screw those jerks!
