Question...please help!

okay so here's the story...i'm playing rock band and then all of a sudden the game freezes...
i say to myself "oh that's weird" (seeing that i take really good care of my stuff) so i quit the game, eject the disk (which took like 2 mins. to actually come out) and i clean it off... no big deal for me (so far). then i re-insert the disk, and it's taking a really long time to read...i wait about 5mins. and i decide to eject the disk again (this time it came out normally)...
i wonder to myslef "what is going on??" and i try another disc... wait about 2mins and it doesn't pop up like usual... so now i'm freaking out... is there anyway to fix this? i thought about restoring my ps3, but won't that delete all of my DLC and game save files??? somebody help!

I'm sorry dude that must really suck. I take really good care of my stuff too but RB freezes on me alot. Try letting the system alone for a hour or so and try it again.

I don't have any answers for you....but I'm really curious to see what the responses are.

My PS3's been acting similar lately. I've never had it freeze up during a song...but between songs, picking songs, quitting game, etc. It's getting kinda old.

yeah it's really weird... it'll work perfectly through, like 3 songs then on the fourth near the end of the song it'll just freeze... it's really making me mad and i hope it's the disc(s) and not my ps3 :(
