Where's the "SPECIAL" announcement??!!

Just wondering. There were posts here yesterday saying the winner of the BOTB (which was NinjaPlease! [GameSpy]) were to release some news...Hmmm.....:confused:

No one really knows. I don't even remember where it said that the winner would get some kind of special news to release. Either way, I would give them a few days, either tonight, or tomorrow would be the time they would probably release it. Don't expect it right away as it would take time to get the news and then right up an article on it.

Well, I realize 1up didn't win the BOTB, but for some reason, I'm thinking that this IS the announcement...what we found out in that OXM interview with Alex. It's definitely awesome, but I was hoping for something more...so hopefully there's more.

I know, but that's why I say it may be it...because it's "new" news and so it may be the "big" news we were supposed to get from the winner. I hope not, and it's probably not, but just saying. :(

Nope, this news will be exclusive to GameSpy. Even Harmonix isn't going to announce it until GameSpy does.

At this point, I wouldn't mind some news on Metallica DLC or something awesome like that. I'm not going to start it up again, but I live in Canada, as well as ordered off of cduniverse.com...so double whammy, nuff said. :P I could use some more good news.

No, but it's a good way to drum up hype for the game.

It matters greatly to the site that makes the announcement. They're guaranteed an increase in traffic, which gets more people looking at their site. More people = more money for them.

My guess, It will be some DLC news that we haven't heard.

They're prob gonna post it when they put up there review, makes sense to do it that way.
