Ok, this is not the usual question about the demo guitar. I understand that those are pre-production models. With that said, does the strum bar click like the GH guitars? I played on the demo model at Best Buy, but of course it was broken and only worked when strumming up. Then I played it at Wal-Mart the other day. Their demo was in better condition. They had it in the garden center so I guess not many people found it lol. Anyway, that guitar worked strumming up and down but most notes on the downstroke would not register so I had to resort to all up strumming. The strum bar did not return to its center position like the GH guitars.
Like I said, I know these are demos, but does anyone know how the strummer is supposed to work? Is it supposed to click? Is it supposed to spring back to a center position like the GH guitars? I'm sure I'll like it no matter how they designed it. I'm just curious.

Upstrum only is a common complaint of the demo guitars, but even the production guitars will not click (which is good, IMO), but they will spring back.

Yeah, I had a feeling there would be no clicking, which I also like. As long as the strum bar springs back to center and I'm able to get a feel for it, I'll be one happy camper.

The retail production models do not click. It's really nice to rock out and hear something other than the sound of your own clicking!
