I did remember hearing about Zappa having the burnt guitar. I wish Dweezil played the guitar, though, rather than auctioning it.

Old video, though, so chances are that it's already locked away in someone's display case at their summer home or something.

If I recall Dweez only had it up for a day and changed his mind. Pretty sure it's still in the Zappa Family. I seem to recall hearing that Dweezil used it a couple of times on the 2006 Zappa Plays Zappa Tour.
