One of the coolest songs for Rock Band would be a song called the Revenant Choir by Versailles. Sadly, no one has heard of them. So a challenging J-Rock song could be anything off of Dir en grey's new album Marrow of ABone. Go listen to Agitated Screams of Maggots (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfiGK1nWUig) and then tell me you wouldn't want to see that in guitar hero.

Does no one else like J-Rock? The drums are amazing in these songs.

I saw this band open for, Tool this past tour, and they were called "Melt Banana" not to down your tastes, because to each his own but it was the worst "music" i've ever heard. I was telling someone I work with about them and he refered to them as J-Rock.

They aren't J-Rock. Just because they are Japanese.. haha J-Rock would be something like:
L'Arc~en~Ciel
Asian Kung-Fu Generation
ORANGE RANGE
Akeboshi
Arashi
The Black Mages
FLOW
And several more I cannot even think of ATM.
Melt Banana.. noise rock?

Melt Banana makes interesting music which is more than I can say about Tool.

I'd expect some to come out as DLC for a evetual japan release. My personal picks:
The pillows(the whole "last dinosaur" album if possible)
The black mages would be fun buit there's like 2 of their songs with vocals
Anything from Tomoyasu Hotei he did "Battle Without Honor or Humanity" from kill bill vol. 1 I find all of his music just badass sci-fi/horror rock n roll.

Ready Steady Go! is fairly easy to sing
Haruka Kanata
Yokan
Meinsen (always mispell that)
Little Busters
Those would rock on RB

As for Dir en Grey, I'd want some of their older stuff.
Akuro no Oka or Ain't Afraid to Die are at the top of my list.
