whats the point of the PS2 Version

can someone answer me why is harmonix making a ps2 version? there are already 7th gen consoles, let go of your old consoles and buy yourselves a ps3 or 360! stop being cheap! its worth it...... if you cant obviously tell?

Harmonix is just wasting time with the ps2 version honestly, Imagine if there was no ps2 version... Canada and Europe would have same release date as us..

I think the point is to give people as many options as are reasonably possible. Multiple console releases gives more people the opportunity to rock out.

No offense, but no good can come of this question. It is going to degenerate into a console flame war, Canada flame war, etc.
