Hey does anyone know how quickly songs get unlocked in the game? I am having a party Tuesday night and I want to have as many songs available as possible. Any know?

Why don't you just do the Band World Tour? That way you get the full experience and you unlock songs as you go.

BWT is like an RPG and everyone knows RPGs suck for parties.

seriously though, I'm sure he just wants to use Rockband as entertainment, I.E. many people switching instruments. BWT is more like the same group of friends playing the same songs over and over. I'd want to have all the songs unlocked so that if there's something the girls really want to play, I've already unlocked it.

but I might be wrong.

ya I might do that. I guess I can make a band just for the party and work through as fast as I can.

Or another option would be to play through single player. Even playing really fast on Easy, you would unlock most of the songs. If you do Easy or Medium vocals, it would probably be a cakewalk to get them all.

Or I'm sure there will be a code. Literally hours after GH3's release all the codes were up on this website. Thats a possibility.

Well, at the very least, spank yourself or something. Then put it on the MyTubes and be an internet hero.

BWT is custom made for parties. Heck, the whole game is custom made for parties, since BWT is practically the whole game. Everything else is just practice for BWT. Embrace it. Don't fear it. And don't reject it, 'cause others don't have your luck of being able to get a full gang of friends over, and would gladly enact horrible deeds upon you to take your luck and make it their own. *hides mallet* :D...

i always forget that my sarcasm/irony does not translate well from speech to text. Translation: BWT is good for parties to a point.

However, I understand the OP as well, as when GHIII party time came, I unlocked all the songs (and bonus) before the party.

If only there were some way to denote sarcasm on the internet. Maybe they'll devise a system of icons that display emotion... :p
