I didn't see a thread for this band yet, but if we were to have ANY Power Metal, this band , Nightwish and Symphony X should be it. Classic great examples of the genre, unlike DragonForce.

Rhapsody can play live, and have a lot of talent... some songs that would be good choices would be

The above have some good guitar sections came with bass... the drum parts would be rather fast bass pedaling and little more though. The vocals are very strong and sound good.

For Symphony X I say "Seven"

For Nightwish any song pretty much especially off of "Dark passion play" or "Once"

Yeah, this would be a great band for DLC too... would be very umm well it would be a "cherry bomb" and them they would suck because nobody knows them.

They have great song structure... sure the drums are very repetitive... give the guitar and bass a listen to. Nice Rhythmic and Melodic sound to them then you have somewhat difficult solos here and there. And the powerful vocals too great to pass up.

We should get a full album or all 4 or the albums involved in the Emerald Sword Saga

We have lots of songs in 4/4 beats... we can have songs with long and repetitive drum patterns... playing the whole Emerald Sword Saga in ONE Setlist would be epic

The entire Paradise Lost album from Symphony X would be a dream come true.

Nightwish would be great, but they're pretty keyboard-heavy.

I love Rhapsody, but they have a lot of keys, too. Not as much as Nightwish, though.

I'd love to see any power metal, especially good songs from good bands.

But nothing would beat Falconer.

Heck yes! Rhapsody would be a hecka good band to add in, since every aspect of their music(guitars, singing, drums) sounds like it'd be a challenge to play.

One of my favorite Rhapsody songs is one of their earliest and isn't very well known, but I'd love for this song to make an appearance as DLC.

I have all their albums except Triumph or Agony (Which I can pick up anytime). Nor do I have their first EP, Rain of a Thousand Flames (considering picking up sometime). I can find their cd's at a Newbury Comics near me and don't have to order them on the internet.

That aside, I voted that it depends on the song. Obviously HMX won't choose one of their classical styled songs (like Guardiani Del Destino). Also, Alex Staropoli is a great pianist and hearing some of the stuff makes me wish they had piano in this game too. Finally, the full name of the genre is "symphonic power metal" and many of the songs have large symphony breaks (Sacred Power Of Raging Winds) which would take away from the guitar/bass/drums/vocals quite a bit.

Now don't get me wrong. I would LOVE to see Emerald Sword, Holy Thunderforce, or Unholy Warcry in RB, but the song would have to fit nicely in the game.

Rhapsody, ah yes. The entry level symphonic/progressive power metal band. That's right. Their patterns might be a bit off for the game, but some songs could fit. I do have to chuckle at the WHAT THEY ARENT AT BEST BUY comments. Of course they aren't. Best Buy doesn't exactly have a wide range of music and certainly doesn't import much. Heh.

I've had a new found respect with the band with The Frozen Tears of Angels since that completely blew away even Kamelot's Poetry of the Poisoned in an unexpected turn of events, I would gladly like to see them in this game, provided it's something I can play of course.

I would really like to have The Frozen Tears of Angels album for DLC. I really think RB fans would like more Power Metal. Similar songs already on the DLC seem to be pretty popular with most people. Reign of Terror would probably be my most favorite song to have.

Edit: Yup, pre-RB3. All Devil-Tier would include Keyboard. And, after RB3, Buttersnips was retiered, so actually, it's not Devil-tiered on any instrument.
