Face Off

This game is five months away from release, but my buddy and I are already talking smack about who is going to be better with the new instruments.

I understand that the focus is going to be on co-op, but I really hope you guys will build in support for basic face-off modes for guitar, drums, and vocals, online or offline.

Offline play against your mates in the 1 room is a must have.

I'm not too fussed about a direct online vs mode, but it would be good to have battle of the band type competitions where bands play a few songs and their scores get tallied onto a leader board.

And what instruments would be included in vs mode? I spose a few people will buy 2 guitars so thats a given. I'd like to be able to get mates to bring around their drum set and have a few crazy drumming comps too. And vs mode in SingStar was the only reason I ever played that game.
