So Bristol Palin, daughter of McCain's VP candidate Sarah Palin is pregnant at 17. Palin is a staunch social conservative who does not believe in sex education and promotes abstinence-only education. Now her teenage daughter has an unplanned pregnancy. Coincidence?
Palin's policies on sex education failed in her own family and now she wants to be second in command and apply those policies to the entire country?
EPIC FAIL. Thoughts?

Wait? Is this related to the 5th child rumor, or is this something new? Either way, not really appropriate for Rock Band forums.

Her daughter is old enough to now what choices to make. It should make no difference what she does . . .
of course it will

In this case, yes. Teenage pregnancies are a problem in this country, and abstinence-only education has been shown to actually increase the number of teen pregnancies. Palin has also said explicitly that she does not support sex education. Also, social conservatives condemn teen mothers out of wedlock, so this looks very hypocritical.

Due to the extremely heated discussions (read: flaming) that usually come from political threads, we try to steer away from them on the RB forums. I'm sure you can find tons of better places online to discuss this if you wish it, though.
