Something a little more helpful would be:
1. Right click the address in your web bar (the http://blahblahblah) and click "copy".
2. In the respond box, click the thing that allows you to post link.
3. Delete the pre existing http:// (because you don't want to have http://http://)
4. Right click in the dialogue bar and click paste

Voila!
You've added extra steps that aren't necessary.
You don't have to do steps 2 or 3. Just post the raw youtube URL in a msg, and the forum will automagically stick the URL BBcode tags around it and embed it. That's why I had to use the CODE tags above, because it would've tried to embed a garbage URL if I hadn't :)

As mentioned, the forum will parse links of certain video sites like YouTube and automatically embed the video.

although I think we all know which one people care about.
